15" Doily

 This beautiful doily was also found when I was looking for my sewing needles.  It is so pretty :)

Pale Pink and White Baby Blanket

 Here is another blanket I found stored in my storage bin.  I love it, but it is hard to see the pale pink and white in the pictures :)

Yesterday I was looking for my sewing needles.  What a crazy thing to misplace.  Anyway, I went through all my storage bins and didn't find them.  I did find some blankets that I made before I started my Etsy store though.  And since I stored them in the bin in my closet, they were not in the stack that I donated.  Soooo.... I am going to put them on my Etsy store.  Here is the pink baby blanket.  It is 30 x 36" and very soft. :)

Another Sock Monkey Day

I woke up this morning to a Khaki, Red, and White Sock Monkey Set order :)  Then I got a request for an army sock monkey set.  And lastly I have a request for a Minnie Mouse Purse.  Looks like the personal tissue holders that I planned making are going to be made a different day.

I'm still trying to picture a design that I like for the army sock monkey.  The camouflage yarn is a little dark and makes the face difficult to see.  I'll have to keep looking and see if I find an idea that I like.  I'm not sure I have the yarn on hand right now, so I will have to go hunting in the yarn bins and see what I have on hand.

 I like this one, but it kind of blends all together.

 The face is too dark, but otherwise I really like these.

 I really like the army hat.  So.... I went on etsy and purchased an army hat pattern.   I wonder if I can make it part of my sock monkey hat???

 I bought the pattern, and it is well worth it!!!  It is a wonderful hat!  I made a diaper cover to match.  The yarn is a little stiffer than what I normally use, but I think that works well for the hat.

Here is one of the army monkeys that I came up with.  I really like how this one turned out.  I had to pull out the straps several times.  If you mix green, red, and white, it looks very Christmasy.

I think that with the red straps it just looks like a camouflage sock monkey :)

                                                  This sock monkey turned out reminding me of a clown.  I don't think that is a good thing.  I like the colors, but I think it is the mouth that throws me off.  I am wondering if I want to make the mouth white with red lips.  I am not fond of it how it is right now. Maybe someone will like a clownish, green, sock monkey :)

I took off the mouth and tried again.  I like this a little better.
